Looking for some new places to go in Philly. How about The Philadelphia Museum of Art?
Painting pictures is considered relaxing and is a way of expressing yourself creatively with shapes, colors, lines, and tones.
The Philadelphia Museum of Art has a lot of paintings on display this summer.
There is an old saying; you can’t put a price on beauty and inspiration.
Consider finding a painting you like and have an appraiser determine the value of your artwork.
Or just go to your local art museum and learn about a new upcoming artist. Below are two paintings now displayed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Sunflowers by Vincent van Gogh1: A luminous image of sunflowers painted from memory in 1889. It is a variation on the work now in Munich, and it gives each flower a pronounced personality.

Road and Trees by Edward Hopper2: A painting of a rural scene with a road and trees in the foreground and hills in the distance. It was donated to the museum in 2016 from the collection of Daniel W. Dietrich II, along with a $10 million endowment.
Quote for today:
If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint. By Edward hopper.
