A new planet that could potentially be habitable for humans someday.
One of the most recent ones is TOI 700 e, an Earth-sized planet orbiting the habitable zone of its star, which is located 100 light-years away.
Another one is Proxima d, a planet candidate about a quarter the mass of Earth, orbiting the red dwarf star Proxima Centauri, which is the closest star to the Solar System.
There are also other planets that are less than twice the size of Earth and reside in the habitable zone of their host stars, such as Kepler-452b, Kepler-62f and Kepler-186f .
