Hackers breached MGM Casino International in recent weeks and also broke into the systems of Caesars Casino,
and left a ransomware note. Demanding 15 million dollars to unlock their system, so the casinos can get back online and make money. I know how this feels to have someone hack your computer. It happened to me and my Laptop. My computer was beeping and flashing a message saying RANSOM NOTE. I took my laptop to my son, who unlocked my computer, cleaned the virus, and tracked the people. Thank God for my son. MGM has not commented on the statement or the hack, beyond saying last week that it was dealing with a cybersecurity issue. Caesars earlier said it was investigating the breach. Below are some ways to protect your computer and information from Hackers.
1- Install and use firewalls and antivirus software on your computer.
2- Be- mindful of the free Wi-Fi networks you connect to, and use while in public places.
3- Run or schedule regular virus scans to keep your computer up to date, with the new virus protection program.
4- Never open email text , from people or email address you don’t know.
