Lamp Just Sold For $3.37 Million

A Tiffany Lamp Just Sold For $3.37 Million At Auction. The Lamp dates back to 1900 and was auctioned off at Christie’s in New York City on December 13. The Lamp was expected to sell for $1.8 million and 2.5 million dollars but sold for much more. This is a beautiful little lamp but, I don’t know if, I would have paid 3 million dollars for it. Another Tiffany Lamp was sold for 2.8 million dollars at Christie’s auction also, it was called the “Pink Lotus Lamp” It is a very rare Lamp. Wow, these Tiffany Lamps are hot items to look out for at yard sales.

Something to think about:

The Herodian lamp dates from about 50 BC through the time of Christ. It is wheel-made with the spout added later. Olive oil is the preferred fuel for burning. This very well could have been the style of lamp in Mary and Joseph’s house and also the lamp type that was used in the Upper Room. Worth A Billion if you can find it , Priceless ???
